Love is patience
Through hardships and all
Love doesn’t cost a cent
Yet, it is worth it all

I want to hold you in my arms
Through the heavy storm and rain
But with love there comes a balance
And this balance is called pain

Pain is very necessary
Like within the light, there is the dark
But with all these pains, there are smiles
Because I love you with all my heart

Love is endurance
Through all that torture and pain
And then you realize the arguments are over
And see that there is no more rain

Love gets only stronger
Through hardships and pains alike
They help us get through harder weather
And do things we may dislike

Lust is not some love
It is not some frivolous fantasy
Love is a pure white dove
Untainted by some dangerous ecstasy

And kiss your beautiful face

I thanked the Heavens
For loving this girl of my dreams
For bringing this angel down to earth
